My day started off as so many do with a barrage of random and slightly odd questions from the children, culminating in ‘mummy what do princesses eat?’
One of my main flaws as a parent is my inability to give a straight answer…
Princess Ariel is of course partial to Ben and Jerry’s Phish food ice cream.
Princess Belle used to be a vegetarian but turned to steak after marrying the beast.
Princess Tiana secretly eats flies….
This is how the conversation went until we got to Elsa… ‘oh thats easy’ I said ‘she only eats white sparkly food!’
Minty’s eye’s widened at this point and she said ‘THEN THAT IS WHAT I WANT FOR LUNCH!’
As I said, I bought this on myself. But a quick trip to Tesco and a few simple ingredients later the idea of the Disney Frozen Yoghurt drops was born. I am not going to lie, I could have kissed the nearest shopper when I found these in the baking aisle.
Ingredients:
Natural Yoghurt (this would work just as well with flavoured yoghurt)
Sprinkles
Edible Glitter
Moulds (I used a small cupcake tray, but you could use ice cube trays or any other type of mould you have available).
Spoon the yoghurt into the moulds, decorate with the sprinkles and glitter. Simple, right?
Place in the freezer for a couple of hours, then once they are solid they are ready to eat.
Minty thought they tasted delicious. They were so easy to make and if you ignore the sprinkles they are low in sugar and such a fun treat.
I’m thinking that your response in the baking aisle at Tesco might be the perfect “cute meet” to start a romcom!
😍
Great idea! 😊
Thank you Mrs Craft! Xxxx
I guess when I made sugar cookies with those sprinkles (mine weren’t labeled for the movie), I made princess cookies–don’t tell my sons!!! They would be mortified. lol
