Crocheted Boys Hoodie – Baby Cashmere Merino Yarn

May 2, 2017 by Amy Le Pelley 6 Comments

For this months Minerva Craft Blogger Network post I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a stash of Baby Cashmere Merino Silk 4 ply by Sublime.  I adore this yarn it is so soft, light and easy to work with.  The strands did not split at all and there is beautiful definition to the stitches.  75% extra fine merino, 20% silk and 5% cashmere…and still machine washable.  Even the colour names inspire creativity.  This gorgeous blue is called ‘Buttons’.

The pattern I am using is this cuter than cute boys hoodie (complete with hood tassel) by DMC.  Head over to Minerva Craft for the full article with more details about the yarn, the pattern and the finish piece.

Disclosure – Yarn and Pattern were sent to me by Minerva Craft for the purpose of review.  All opinions however, remain my own.

I love Sublime wools and am making a bolero jacket at the moment using their cashmere merino silk aran. It’s so nice to knit with and keeps its shape. This little jacket is so gorgeous and love the wooden buttons and the pocket.
