My girls love getting involved in baking. What they don’t love it having to wait for their creations to cook before they get to eat them. Luckily this recipe involves no cooking and very little preparation so is perfect!
What you need:
Sprinkles or other decorations
Cut the bananas in half and stick them onto the sticks. Wrap in wax paper and freeze for at least an hour.
Whilst the bananas are freezing, melt the cooking chocolate. It makes it much easier to dip if you melt the chocolate in a tall thin pot. If the chocolate is too thick you can add a tablespoon of oil to thin it out a little. I would recommend waiting ten mins before you dip the bananas, as this will give the chocolate time too cool down so it doesn’t defrost the bananas.
The chocolate will set very quickly once it hits the cold banana so decorate each one as soon as you have dipped it.
You can then wrap the pops in wax paper and return them to the freezer until you are ready to eat them.
