Little Passports was set up in 2009 by two mothers who had a shared vision to inspire children to learn about the world.
Little Passports, is a monthly subscription service which teaches children about different countries and their language, culture and geography.
Each month the pack looks at a different country. Boxes also include items such as stickers, activity sheets, souvenirs, and access to online games.
We recently had a three month subscription to the World Edition Box which is suitable for children aged 6-10 years.
You can also choose between Early Explorer packs which are suitable for children aged 3-5 Years, these explore a new world theme each month, like music, oceans, and dinosaurs; or a Science Expeditions Pack, which reveals the mysteries of the world through science experiments and activities. This pack is suitable for children aged 9+.
In the first pack, you get the full explorer kit which includes, the Little Passports blue suitcase, your very own passport, a wall-sized world map and a welcome letter from new pen pals Sam & Sofia. Each of the follow up packs contains, letters from Sam & Sofia, fun souvenirs, activity sheets, stickers for your suitcase, passport & map, photos and access to the Boarding Zone for more online games
Cost – The World Edition subscription cost is 1 month for £10, 6 months for £50 or 12 months for £90.
The Verdict – Twinkle loved this subscription. She is lower end of the age range for this pack and therefore I was concerned that it might not hold her attention, as it might for an older child, but it really did. The packaging and all of the lovely items inside are bright and eye catching. The quality of the items is also very good. The lovely little suitcase which comes with the first pack is sturdy and will easily last the full subscription and beyond.
Twinkle enjoyed taking a journey with the children ‘Sam and Sofia’ who feature throughout and their magical scooter which whisks them to a different country each month. She particularly liked the passport and that you update it with stickers to show where you have been each month. She thought that was really special.
I enjoyed the one on one time it gave me with Twinkle. We looked on the world map together, to find where we live and where we have been and want to go.
A subscription to Little Passports would make a fabulous Christmas present to any child aged between 3-12 years and would keep them entertained throughout the following year.
