I came across these gorgeous miniature polymer clay craft kits whilst at the Kirsty Allsopp Homemade Fair in London this summer.
The LetterBox Kit stall stood out because it was a unique concept. I also knew that the 8 year old me would have jumped at the chance to get my hands on one of these ridiculously cute kits with teeny tiny miniature Christmas decorations, pots of glitter, sparkles and DIY accessories.
This gingerbread house Christmas craft kit is a wonderful way for children to discover the joy of creating their own jewellery and accessories and contains everything you need to decorate three handmade gingerbread house charms.
The kit comes with full instructions, it is easy to create, but younger children my need some supervision.
Firstly, Twinkle used the white polymer clay to make the snow on top of her gingerbread house, and then pressed glitter and sparkly balls into the clay.
Then she used the glue to add personalised decoration. There is more than enough pieces with which to decorate your house to ensure that you can personalise it to your own taste.
I then placed the decorated houses onto a baking sheet and put them into the oven for Twinkle.
Once they had cooled down she chose which houses were going to go on her necklace, keyring and Christmas tree decoration.
She loved this kit and I felt that it was really good value for money at £12.95, it kept Twinkle busy for a couple of hours and she loves what she has created. She put her keyring onto her school bag and took her necklace in for show and tell this week.
There are so many other kits available including doughnut, cupcake and pizza kits.

Wow these are too cute! Never seen them before and allways looking for something for the elves to bring the boys and with them being tiny that will be more realistic!
My favourite is probably making our own reindeer dust, we make it using Porridge oats, Glitter and Sequins ( or another shiny substitute ) , we mix it all together and one by one I carry the kids outside the front door to sprinkle it and make a Christmas wish, and I love seeing their little faces as they do it 🙂
Every year we go to a pantomime on Christmas Eve
My daughter is really excited for Christmas x
My family haven’t had a proper Christmas together for 8 years, this year its finally happening again, I can’t wait.
